How it Works


Agents access the Bold Software system using unique login IDs and passwords from the client application. Once logged in, incoming engagement requests are responded to from within the desktop interface. Agent availability is dynamically reflected on the website so that visitors are never frustrated by unresponsiveness.

To protect sensitive information, an optional data masking capability exists which uses a proprietary algorithm to hide number strings, successfully securing customer credit card or SSN data.

The ACD engine (Automatic Chat/Call Distribution) – available in BoldChat Premier and the BoldCCM Enterprise suite quickly passes incoming requests to the most appropriate, available agent. Administrators use a combination of ACD queuing rules, departments, permissions, and foldering to ensure that the right work is distributed to the right personnel in real time.
